Interacting with people will be second nature
Being in contact with customers will not just be part of the job, it is the job. Knowing how to interact with people will definitely come in handy since it is not just about the proficiency of the service provided. Ultimately, it is about how you make your customers feel.

Excellent time management skills will be key
It is crucial to practise timeliness and strive to be early for customer appointments in order to keep to the day's schedule. Due to the customer-fronting nature of the roles, delays do occur. In the face of unexpected situations, practise flexibility where possible and remain professional.
